I am completely and 100% obsessed with detox water this week. I cannot get enough of this stuff and have made several batches. Each of these detox waters smell wonderful, are refreshingly delicious, have a refreshing taste, look absolutely beautiful and has tons of health benefits! My current favorite is Cucumber, Lime & Mint detox water.
Here are just a few of the health benefits of this detox water:
Cucumbers: High in antioxidants (fight free radicals in the body) that protect you from chronic diseases, is a natural diuretic; flushing out waste, toxins and excess water from the body.
Limes: Contain citric acid which can increase metabolism and burn fat.
Mint: Promotes digestion, reduces inflammation and is a natural stimulant. Use mint to give your mood a boost!

Notes
*Amount of cucumbers, limes, mint and water will depend on the size of the pitcher/container.
Ingredients
- 2 cups filtered water
- 3 thin slices of cucumber
- 1/4 teaspoon mashed cucumber
- 3 thin slices of lime
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- Dash of lime zest
- 2 fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Add cucumber & lime slices, mashed cucumber, mint leaves, lime juice & zest to a 24 oz. water bottle. Pour in room temperature filtered water and allow mixture to steep for 20 minutes. Refrigerate overnight for a cool refreshing drink first thing in the morning.
