Foaming Handsoap

Jump to recipe

I started this blog over two years ago to share a story … a story of a journey I never wanted to take. A roller coaster ride called, cancer. That word … one stupid word changed my whole life. The fear and hatred of it drove me to turn my world completely upside down. I threw out every cleaner, bath & body product, food – you name it. I forced myself to change EVERYTHING.

I decided to jump in head first on this DIY all-natural, chemical-free adventure and can I just say, “It was scary” – at first.

I knew I had to start with something I could replicate fairly easy so I didn’t get discouraged and backslide and I was dead set on going back. So here you go … Foaming Hand Soap!

Nearly two years later and everyone comments on this soap when they use it. I have shared this super simple recipe hundreds of times so I decided it was time to share it here.

This recipe is super simple, antibacterial and leaves your hands super soft!

The main ingredient?

Dr. Bronner’s Baby Unscented Liquid Castile Soap

This hand soap is made up of three ingredients: Castile Soap, Distilled Water and Tea Tree Essential Oil (or any combination of antibacterial essential oils listed below).

Tea Tree

*Tea Tree and Eucalyptus essential oil mixed together are effective in fighting E. Coli and Staph infections.
